Mrs. Braun's 1st graders had an Easter egg hunt for math problems today! Students found Easter eggs with math problems in them to review adding and subtracting within 20!




Ms. Timpe's second graders wrote a draft of a personal narrative. Now, they are editing each other's papers. Each student is in charge of a different thing to proofread. Some of them are looking for spelling, some for complete sentences, some for capitalization. They are passing their papers around in a circle!

To help practice working with teen numbers, Mrs. Haslett's Kindergartners learned how to use rekenreks!



Ms. Campbell and Miss Willis met Pam Munoz Ryan at the Illinois Reading Conference last week. Their 5th graders just finished her novel, Esperanza Rising!


Miss Higgins took her 3rd graders outside yesterday to sketch plants for their science lesson!🌱

Students in Mrs. Sutton's 7th grade science used models to study the effects of space as a limited resource in an ecosystem!
