
A few 4th graders got to have a "Fancy Friend Lunch" to celebrate one student's AR success! We hope to see some others following closely behind!


Mrs. Sey's 3rd grade class played a math board game last week to review place value and rounding skills!





Mrs. Alvarado and Bruno were the first Mystery Readers to visit Miss Segroves's Kindergarten class for this year!

Mrs. Braun's 1st grade class read the book "Alma and the Worry Stone." This book showed them way to calm their worries at school. Each student then got to make their own worry stone to have with them at school to ease their mind!

Miss Clayton's 3rd grade class is working together to solve a reading mystery!



Mrs. Moreno's 4th graders are sorting standards to see what they will learn in science and social studies this year!



We are so thrilled that we were selected to receive a yard card from Joyful Yards! It has made a wonderful backdrop for so many of our families to take their back to school pictures. Thank you to them and thank you to our parents, staff and community for helping us win!

Mr. Van Kley finished his last session of Junior Achievement in Mrs. Braun's class yesterday! He visited their classroom for 5 sessions and taught her 1st graders about neighborhoods and businesses!


Mrs. Haslett's Kindergarten just may be too cool for school!


Miss Clayton's 3rd grade class read the book "If I Built a House" by Chris Van Dusen last week. Then they worked in groups to design and create their own rooms!

Our 8th graders spent last Friday riding rollercoasters at Six Flags!


Mrs. Moreno's 4th graders drew the Patriot logo for P Day!



Mrs. Braun's 1st graders reviewed what they have learned in their math chapter by making 3D shapes out of marshmallows and toothpicks!





Kindergarten had their last visit of the year from Ms. Tara from the U of I Extension! She spent the year teaching them the importance of good nutrition and exercise through the OrganWise program!
