Mrs. Rappe’s class created towers using base ten blocks, and they began a student led snack bar to help the kids learn how money works!🧱





Our high school is having a Disney themed Homecoming this year! Please join in the fun by participating in our spirit days planned for next week!🖤

This morning we recognized our 8th grade boys before they played a doubleheader against Stark County. Thanks for your dedication and leadership this season as 8th graders!💙⚾️❤️

Look! It’s My Book! came to see us this morning! They visit us monthly and bring books for our Pre-K through 4th grade students to choose to keep. Thank you so much!📚





Ms. Timpe’s 2nd grade students wrote a description of a character and represented their mental images of him while reading his story, “Picture Day Perfection!”📘





Peoria Heights High School hosted a Medfest with Special Olympics Illinois, OSF and SEAPCO. OSF providers volunteered their time to provide physicals free of charge for more than 40 students with disabilities from Dunlap, Farmington, Limestone, Peoria Heights and Washington. This lets students compete in Unified and Special Olympics sports and activities!!🥇


Some of our 7th and 8th grade science classes had a fun STEM activity today! They had to create something to draw a house without touching the marker. They used their creativity and engineering skills to create some great pieces of art!🪢





On Friday our HS held its first Unified Club meeting and had 44 kids attend!🤗





Student Council did a coffee/cookie cart to kickoff a great school year for our staff!!🤗





Mrs. Haslett’s Kindergarteners practiced their safety drills today! Here they are practicing for an earthquake!💙
