Mrs. Sutton's 8th grade science class started a motion and forces unit this week. They used spring scales and mini skateboards to see how different forces created motion!
Miss Clayton's 3rd graders took advantage of this beautiful weather by playing with chalk today!

On March 20th, we will be hosting a night for our fifth through eighth grade parents and students to learn about internet safety. We will have a guest speaker from the Attorney General's Office, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, to educate students and parents regarding safe technology use. We are celebrating National Reading Month! Next week kicks off our Book Fair and Read-A-Thon. We will also be hosting our annual Literacy Night on March 2nd from 5-6:30 PM. (Please RSVP if you haven't yet)!

Our 7th and 8th graders completed a science experiment with Mrs. Sutton to see who could make the candy hearts dissolve the fastest!
Ms. Gonzales did a candy heart science experiment with her students today! They tested the hearts to see if they would sink or float and they checked density and acidity!
