Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming up! It will be held in the library the week of February 27th. It will also be open during Literacy Night on March 2nd. Information will be sent home later this week on the books that will be available for purchase along with a QR code if you'd like to create an eWallet for your student! Miss Clayton's student, Rylan, is related to the first woman of color to become a self-made millionaire. Her name was Annie Turnbo Malone. Rylan's grandfather published a book on her life and talks about how charitable she was with her money! Here's a picture of Rylan with the book!



Our 7th and 8th graders took a field trip to Challenger Learning Center last week. They had the best time!




Mrs. Haslett's Kindergarten used letter cubes to make silly CVC words today! This will help them to learn how to use the letter sounds to read words!

Mrs. Rummel's 2nd grade celebrated the 102nd day of school today! How cute are these Dalmatians?!


Mrs. Moreno had her 4th grade students practice fractions by playing with fraction dominoes!





Mrs. Roling's class had a lot of fun on the 100th day!





100 Days of School fun with 4th grade! They scored 100 points by throwing balls in baskets, made words worth 100 points and they found cities 100 miles away!




Mrs. Haslett's Kindergarten celebrated the 100th day in a big way!
