Mr. Halford had his 5th and 6th graders make Elephant's toothpaste in science. The toothpaste is a foamy substance that is created when you combine water, hydrogen peroxide, yeast and dish soap. It's commonly used in classrooms to demonstrate an exothermic reaction. Looks like they had fun!

This morning OSF Healthcare came with mannequins and AED trainers to teach our 6th-8th grade students Hands Only CPR. Our students were taught how to help someone experiencing cardiac arrest. Thank you OSF!
