
There's been a "crime" at the high school! Miss Baize had her forensics students collect fingerprints on Friday to begin to solve the mystery!

This afternoon our 7th and 8th grade students had a guest speaker, Mrs. Kris McClellend, come talk to them about civics and government. A fun fact about her is that she and her husband helped pass a law so that international adoptions were handled at the federal level instead of the state level. Their advocacy for change came after they were told they couldn't adopt an 8 year old from Russia.

Our 4th graders learned about Hispanic Heritage month by matching countries to their flags!





A few of our high school students participated in the 46th Annual Automotive Powerhouse Open House. They looked at old cars, participated in technician competitions and learned about various automotive careers!





Our 4th graders learned all about weathering, erosion and deposit sorting with Mrs. Moreno today!





Mr. Redenius taught his general science students about the different states of matter by using dry ice!

Mr. Scott's government class participated in a two day mock trial over First Amendment rights.


Ms. Gonzales's students learned about simple machines today! They made marshmallow catapults!
