Yesterday our Unified group from the HS and our 5th/6th graders went to cheer on the Peoria Rivermen!
This week our 7th and 8th graders have been giving presentations in Mrs. Stephens's class. Their assignment was to presents a fellow classmate with an award as a way to practice public speaking and to build one another up with kind words. Some students chose to dress up and bring in props to make it more fun!
Our Unified Club participated in the Youth Activation Summit to brainstorm ways to make our school inclusive to all people with and without disabilities. Here are a few pictures of what they came up with!
Did you know that today is National Llama Day? Mrs. Haslett's Kindergartners celebrated by drawing llamas and reading llama stories. Their class pet is Lydia Llama and she has been going home with students all year!
Our 3rd and 4th graders won another month of mastering the most equations during the nationwide Bluestreak Math contest!! These three 4th graders topped the charts!

Thank you to the Peoria Heights Police Department for raising money during No Shave November for Peoria Heights families during the holidays.
Penguin Patch Holiday Shop will be returning to our school the week of December 5-9. Please note the day your child will be attending if you would like to send money.
We have a friendly competition starting on Monday to see which PHGS House can raise the most money. Let's see who is going to earn the pizza party!
